The Integration Of New Campus Buildings And Landscape Research

With the coming of the age of knowledge economy, the climax of the construction of campus is widely spread in our nation. A general problem existing in the construction of campus is that paying attention to the architecture design much more than landscape design. Landscape is only designed on the spaces left by architecture design. In fact landscape of campus is the major criterion of a good environment and plays a decisive role in the whole environment and promoting the image and quality of the campus. The goal of a great comfortable environment requires landscape be a part of the planning and architecture. Landscape and architecture should be integrated .The development of the campus landscape is mentioned in the beginning of the paper, then discuss the value of the integration between landscape and architecture .The way of the integration is studied and summarized from the three related aspects of "landscape and culture", "landscape and form "and "landscape and architecture", in order to make a profound comprehension of the integration.After sorting and analyzing a number of example and investigation materials , some new ways and means are put forward to solve some practice problems, and an explicit design orientation is given out through discussing the current campus environment .So it can help to the design a great comfortable environment.
