Personal Landscape Architecture Design Investigation On Modern University Campus

As to the landscape construction characteristics of university campuses, combined the research and theoretic analysis, based on the guiding thought of campus culture the viewpoint of personal landscape which is created by combing area feature and landscape parergon. The personal design that is embodied with university landscape is presented; the personal design that affects the thoughts of teachers and students and the educational function of personal landscape are described. And then the importance of campus culture in the landscape design is discussed, which shows that the landscape design comes from campus culture and also reflects the campus culture. Campus culture is the essential display of personal landscape and the communicative bridge of the landscape and teachers and students.Based on the former descriptions, the other important factors creating personal landscape are analyzed such as region and landscape parergon in this paper. The contents of campus regional climate, regional culture, topography and landscape parergon and the importance of personal landscape are discussed.Finally, the importance and significance of university personal landscape is presented from three viewpoints including personality, culture and ecology. In the construction of university characteristic landscape, respecting the personal principle of people foremost, promoting the successive and innovative culture principle and maintaining sustainable development ecological principle are put forward.
