Data fusion technology occurs with the background of too many mult-sensors data fusion systems come into use. Unmanned airplane have several kinds of navigation sensors which provide the indispensable hardwares of data fusion. But each has its own advantages and disadvantages, so how to integrate all kinds of data is the key to increase the whole system's performance.The data measured by sensors are too many to handle, so the Federated Filter is applied to guarantee the integrated navagation syestem's high precision and good fault tolerance flexibility. After the theories and applications of mult-sensors data fusion have been fully studied, those theory and application technologies are adopted to design the integrated navigation system, and in the course of design, the system's structure and algori-thm are constructed and form a systemic and all-sided method of the integrated navagation system design. The paper discusses the principles and math models of whole system and provide its simulation results.The paper deeply research and analyse the key questions of applycation, and bring forward the ways to solve them.(1) Obtain the navigation output data. To testify the Federated Filter's performance, the the navigation output data are wanted to be the Federated Filter's input data, so the simulator is designed to achieve this aim.(2) Deduce the system's model. In order to reduce the model's complexity, the model is simplified.(3) Study the standard Kalman Filter theory. According to the actual engineering problems, the Adaptive Kalman Filter theory is put forward and simulated to prove its feasibility.(4)Compaire two kinds of Filtering, the classical Centralized Kalman Filtering (CKF) and the Federated Filtering.(5) Give an adaptive algothrim to calculate the information allocation coefficients. The global information can be feasibly fed back according to the change of a random andpersistent disturbance noise.When all these tasks are successfully completed, the simulation results show that the integrated navigation system has three excellent capabilities, high precision, high reliability and high fault tolerance performance. So the integrated navigation system designed by the paper is feasible to be applied to the unmanned airplane.
