With the development of modern war, air combat is becoming more and more important. Many deferent airborne weapons and equipments are used, this requires the design of aircraft suspend equipment more reasonable and application more reliable. On this background, aiming at the vital component of military battle plane suspend equipment——pylon, we did some researching work about the structural intensity calculation,optimization design and something relative.After introduced the modality of the air pylon and loads on it, we create its statically indeterminate structure mathematic model according to theoretic analysis and rational predigestion. We also present arithmetic about calculating its restriction force under the condition of being restricted by the tandem shackle and anti-swing stop, and this provide a feasible approach to resolve alike question about the statically indeterminate restriction. By method of sections, we calculate the internal force, stress and intensity coefficient of the air pylon.Using the advanced program language Visual Basic 6.0, we exploit the air pylon intension computing software and achieve interactive computer aided analysis about the aircraft pylon intensity. This software adopt the excel function in office that was common used by the most engineer to create data file. During executing the software could directly extract the data from the given excel file or save the result data in the excel file. Software could also accomplish structure intensity calculating about one or more than one group load data, and save result report in * .txt file automatically.The variance of stress about particular points that situate on the edge where maximum stress point locates as the object function, we introduce complex method to optimize the position of exterior load point about pylon along the voyage direction and the angle between anti-swing stop and right-and-left symmetry plane about pylon under the determinate loads. We also compare the unoptimizable stress curves with the optimized to validate the feasibility and correctness of the optimization method.An aircraft manufactory has employed the aircraft pylon intensity computing software. The engineering application improves the efficiency and the reliability of the aircraft pylon intensity computing. The optimization design of structure intensity based on computing software provides a scientific way to design advanced aircraftpylon.
