Ice slurry is an affective media in energy storage an transportation for air conditioning .which has broad prospects. The flowing characteristics and heat transfer performance of ice slurry are the most fundamental data for its putting into use. Since mid-1990s ice slurry becomes the hot point of foreign researchers, who carrying their researches on different aspects of ice slurry, including its rheology, viscosity, pressure drop characteristics and heat transfer performance. However, the preceding researches are mostly experimental, therefore, the results are more or less limited in the practical way. In this thesis, theory and numerical studies as well as experiments have been carried out, which including the following details:1. Described the common employed methods for the producing of ice slurry and introduced the signification of researched ice slurry2. Established a physical model of ice slurry flowing in horizontal pipes on the base of traditional liquid-solid theories. Discussed the effects of transportation speed on the distribution of ice particles in a circular tube as well3. Analyzed all kinds of effects on the pressure drop. Finally, draw the mathematical model of pressure drop4. Analyzed the effects of flow and ice packing fraction on pressure drop of fan and coil5. Based on the theoretical of ice slurry phase flow and heat transfer, established a heat transfer model of ice slurry flowing in horizontal pipes, at same time analyzed the effects of flow and ice packing fraction on heat transfer of fan and coil...
