In this paper the technology of virtual instrumentation based on PXI bus is successfully introduced for dynamic testing of mobile artillery. First of all, the paper carries out systemic analysis and studies about the technology of PXI and SCXI. Then it puts forward the requirement according to the specialty of the dynamic testing of mobile artillery and presents a completely scheme of hardware. It also studies the way of virtual instruments program of module based on PXI bus, and finishes the program of digitizer PXI-6052E; It also studies about the working and control of the SCXI module, and designs the strain signal condition and acquisition procedure of the SCXI-1520 which is controlled by PXI-6052E, and the insulation amplify signal acquisition procedure of SCXI-1125 which is controlled by PXI-6052E. In addition, design the procedure of communication between instruments and computer by serial port or GPIB port and the procedure which controls the Kistler-5017 charge amplifier.
