City Street Lighting Monitoring Wireless Communication Subsystem Research And Development

Since 1990s, the city streetlamp monitoring system has been used in our country ,which not only greatly raised the working efficiency of streetlamp monitoring, but also reduced the manpower and material resources as well as energy sources wasting.This paper is studied on the research and development of wireless communication sub-system of city streetlamp and brightening monitoring system. First, the whole structure of present streetlamp monitoring system is discussed. The city streetlamp monitoring system based on multi-communication is advanced because with the single radio communication, the present streetlamp monitoring system is not only low dependable but also deficient in the aspect of real-time control. The communication scheme including wireless radio, GPRS, SMS, USSD and TCP/IP Is applied in the system. Second , the whole structure of the new style system and the treatment module of multi-communication method are described. Third , the application of each communication method in streetlamp monitoring system is respectively introduced. Last, the communication system which can send the instant message from the monitoring center to the clients in the same LAN is discussed.
