Lpg Air Assisted Injection Technology

The short of energy and air pollution become two main serious problems. The technologies of electronically controlled engine and development for clean energy are being paid more attention. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is clean fuel of vehicle engine; many research departments in local and foreign countries are focus on LPG-fuelled engines.The paper developed the system of Air-assisted injection of electronic-controlled engine fueled with LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) that was based on the system of direct injection engine fueled with LPG in the lab condition and the technical of air-assisted fuel injection. The detailed research and design are described on the injector for air-assisted fuel injection system, the system of fuel supply for liquid LPG and compressed air, the origin ignition system for experiment is improved. The origin control system for experiment is improved, and it is used for the engine bed building experiment research on LPG air-assisted injection system which I have designed in this paper, it is successful to realize the air-assisted injection of LPG.The experiment that tests the integral performance of the LPG engine of electronic-controlled air-assisted injection has been carried out. And compared with the LPG engine of direct injection, the power performance of the LPG air-assisted engine that was closed to the direct injection engine, but the performance of emission becomes better. It shows that the air-assisted injection system improved emission of the LPG engine of direct injection.
