| Vehicle exhaust emission has being become one of the main pollution sources. To protect the environment, vehicle emission standard was made. Emission measurement has become one of the most important parts of vehicle production process. Vehicle exhaust emission test should be carried out in the artificial controllable environment chamber, whose environmental parameters controlling is essential. The automatic monitoring system of the environment chamber for light-duty vehicle exhaust emission performance tests has been developed in the paper.The system is composed of remote I/O modules, RS-485 industrial multi-drop network, compact embedded controller, supervisory control computer, control algorithm and supervisory software. The control algorithm is the core. We identify the system's model and parameters by experiments and chose control algorithm by Matlab simulating. We realize the algorithm with C language, compiled and downloaded it to the embedded controller.Under field and remote monitoring, the system can graphically supervise temperature, humidity and pressure. Our research is a directive attempt in nationalization of the environment chamber for light-duty vehicle exhaust emission performance tests. |
