| Power is an important guarantee for national economic development and the stable of power quality has become an important part for the power grid construction. But with the development of modern power electronics technology, various nonlinear loads access to the power grid system and cause decline of the power quality. This is a safety risk for the stable running of the power grid. In recent years, the problems of power quality are becoming more and more prominent and it has caused a lot of power accidents. So the power quality problem has gradually attracted people’s attention. In this context, power companies and users have higher requirements for power quality monitoring. Therefore, it is important to design a new power quality monitoring system based on embedded system to monitor the power grid. And it has certain practical significance for the development of power quality monitoring technology.Firstly, the background and significance of power quality monitoring is described and the research status and development trend of power quality monitoring technology are studied. Based on the introduction of the relevant domestic and international standards for power quality, the measurement algorithm of power quality is analyzed and studied.Secondly, this paper presents the technical indicators of the power quality monitoring terminal based on the analysis of the design principle and function of the monitoring terminal. And the hardware and software design of the terminal are designed based on the technical indicators. The main function modules of the monitoring terminal are designed on the basis of the overall architecture design of the hardware and software. These main modules include the main control module, data acquisition and processing module, communication module, human-computer interaction module and power supply module. And the specific hardware schematic circuit design and software flow chart design are completed.Thirdly, the function test of the power quality monitoring terminal is carried out. The specific tests of power quality index include voltage and current effective value, frequency, phase, harmonics and flicker. The test results show that the power quality monitoring terminal can fully meet the design specifications and the relevant national standards.Finally, the measurement error of the power quality monitoring terminal test is analyzed in detail in this paper. The seasons of the errors which are appearance in the test are summarized and some improvement measures are put forward to provide reference for the next step to improve the terminal. |
