| The wake generated by hypervelocity projectiles is different fromthe common plasma. It has its own characters. The measurement of thedensity of the electron in the wake is very important for research andnational defines.In the thesis, we study the theory of "swept-frequency microwaveinterferometer system", and realize it in engineering. We measured thekey units of the system, for example VCO and spot focused antenna. Invirtue of the character of the spot focused antenna, we have measuredthe focus and the focus spot of the antenna in a new way by taking infraredthermal-image machine. The results are accord with the theory. Afterdetailedly studied the effect of the undesired saw tooth and the unlinedVCO, we adopt the triangle wave to control the VCO instead of saw-toothwave, and renovate the ways of processing the IF signal by taking digitalphase-detected. We set up the system. In the lab we get the phase of PINtransphaser with microwave interferometer system. The result is wellconsistent with the result that is measured by vector network analyser.The swept-frequency microwave interferometer in the thesis describedis a good system to diagnose plasma .The system is simple to operate andthe outcome is precise. The fruits of this paper will help the developmentof microwave interferometer and its social effect is evident. |
