As a kind of renewable energy source, wind energy plays an important strategic role. The distribution of annual average wind power density of China drawn by Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences shows that wind energy in China is available and plentiful. The datum of the wind farms gotten by the fore wind equipments give many important information to achievements of the first-hand datum, choices of the wind turbines, choices of the wind farm's addresses and the arrangements of wind turbines. But the fore wind assessment equipments mainly are from other countries which have low performance cost ratio and many unreasonable factors, so it's necessary to get a kind of high performance cost ratio and reliable data Jogger which can exactly render the characteristic of the wind farms.A new kind of wind assessment data logger's design process is expounded in details with MCU P89LPC932 in this paper. Taken into account of the overseas logger's performance, advantages and disadvantages, the logger above takes the high performance as the core, I2C bus as the transport protocols, all modules choose low power consumption and high performance components, the procedure is compiled strictly to the methodology of wind energy resource measurement assessment for wind farm, the logger directly outputs the wind turbulence intensity which is an important indicator to the wind farm's characteristic and reduces the later process error.The logger makes full think about the sensors' adaptability and accuracy and chooses the sensors according to the wind turbulence; To the work surrounding, the logger takes special account in power supply to ensure the instrument's reliability and stability. Totally, the experiments show that the logger meets the design requirements.
