Wind-induced interference effects on tall buildings are problems attracting great concerns in wind resistant researches. However, most previous investigations in this area mainly focus on the interference effects between two buildings, although some studies focus on the interference effects between three or more buildings. Due to the high complexity of the problem, it should be take more particularity experiment work in order to get more accurate results. This thesis presents details studies on the interference effects on two tall buildings with different breadth ratio and height ratio and three tall buildings with the same size on the basis of the high frequency force balance technique and the fluctuating wind pressure measurement method. Expressly, interference effects on two buildings under different turbulence intensity in exposure category D are emphasized. The main contributions and results of this study can be summarized as follows:1. By means of the passive method, the satisfying boundary layer of exposure category B and D have been simulated, the results were close to those specified in the west codes and standards but higher than Chinese. In this study, four boundary layer flows with the same mean velocity profile (the exponent of power law is 0.30) but different turbulence intensities are first simulated, the turbulence intensities at the model height are 10%, 15%, 20% and 26% respectively. All these give strong foundation for the development experiment.2. The comparison of interference between two tall buildings with the same size has been studied in order to confirm the veracity of the results. And then ,the interference consist static along-wind load, dynamic along-wind and dynamic cross-wind load between two tall buildings with different breadth ratio and height ratio have been studied, the interference mechanism have also been analyzed3. The interference effects between three tall buildings with the same size have also studied in the last, but it just focused on the comparison of previous studies and the interference effects between two tall buildings, so it is a primary work.4. For the static along-wind loads on the interfered building, the results show that the upstream buildings present shielding effects in most cases; the turbulence intensity has little...
