The main purpose of the paper is to establish an automatically measuring and grouping system used for the geometry parameters of bearing's outer-enclosure. The parameters include diameter, roundness and column-error. For this purpose, we must think over the related fields involved in the system wholly. Therefore, the author did some research work as follows:1 Discuss the measurement principles and mathematical models according to different parameters, recommend comparative measurement in detail, bring forward some kinds of method subsequently. Emphasize its merits, lay out the main program's flow chart for data processing.2 Select the transducer based on the requirement of precision and character of measurement, recommend the working course of the measurement plan and emphasize its merits.3 Discuss the measurement principles and mathematical models of data-controlling system and decide the method of the system used for geometry parameters of bearing's outer-enclosure.4 Analyze the source, variety of the column-error and bring forward the corresponding method. Error separate techniques are adopted to enhance the measurement precision.5 Discuss the techniques of Virtual Instruments, and bring forward the error-analysis program of the parameter based on the virtual instruments. Therefore decide the design and implement of virtual instruments.We can draw a conclusion based on the above points that establishing this system is viable and practicability.
