| The permanent disk motor is also called axial flux motor because its air gap magnet is axial. Basically, a brushless dc motor consists of a permanent magnet (PM) synchronous motor, an inverter as well as a position sensor mounted on the motor shaft. The performance of PMBLDC has been improved since the high performance magnets, such as samarium cobalt and neodymium-boron iron became available. By reasons of its simple construction and stableness, the blushless permanent disk motor is becoming more attractive in many industries.The noumenon of the PMBLDC is permanent magnet disk synchronous motor, however, the armature structure is concentrated and slotless. For the aim to make the back EMF waveform equal to trapeze form, the number of pole is limited. However, it takes another benefit that make it possible to reduce the torque ripple by modify the polar arc width.Since the design of PMBLDC is similar to normal BLDC and common disk motor, it has own specialties. The paper researches the analyses and design of the permanent magnet of PMBLDS. For the reason of its special magnetic field, the paper starts from the means of magnetic field analyses and not only develops it, but also compares to the common motors. The program to compute the disk motor is given out at last. |
