UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) plays a more and more important role in national defense and civil life. As a member of UAV, Unmanned Helicopter has its own application domain. And researches on it has theory, engineering and economical value.According to the characteristic of Unmanned Helicopter, the paper discussed the design of flight controller computer of the flight control system. The controller adopts MCU+PSD structure and makes the best of 80C196KC. Based on real-time requirement, software of the controller was optimized, Furthermore, four HSI interruption was realized. In the flight condition, the controller send flight message of the helicopter to the Ground Station according to communication protocol.Development of a reliable high-performance helicopter-based UAV requires an accurate and practical model of the vehicle dynamics. Using system identification, the paper describes SISO model of the helicopter' s each channel in its hover conditions, and also discussed the coupling relationship of each channel, and the model identification of gyroscope.Using the SISO model, the control laws was designed, and the results of simulation runs well.
