With the increasing of automobile quality, people have focused increasingly an important problem that a great quantity of gasoline is consumed and pollution is more serious. Under the development of electronic technology, it becomes a central subject that electronic controlling unit (ECU) controls injection quality of gasoline and spark advance of engine. Based on the project "design of electronic controlling unit in injection of fuel ", which is taken on automatization school of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, this paper focuses on the controlling of injection quality of fuel and spark advance, depict theory of knock detection and the measure of crank, analyze the key techniques in the development of ECU and present solutions of the problems. Author also present the system structures of hardware, discuss the performance indexes and consider the possibility of the system. Finally, with respect to the problems in debugging and testing process, author does some analyzing and presents the practical solutions. The main attributions of the paper include: 1,Demonstrate the theory of ECU and structure of it's hardware, and depict the functions of it's circuit. 2,This paper also introduces a measurement method of crank position by using magneto-electric effect, present a solution which can resist serious jam. 3,With a view to the theory of engine knock, this paper introduces a method of knock detection in detain. 4,Based on the theory of ECU, present the flow chart of controlling software.
