Design and manufacture of aeroengine is a very complicated project. CAPP system, based on PDM and oriented product, integrates with other related systems (such as CAD, CAM, MES, ERP), it will play a very important role on upgrading current process and workflow, improving manufacture level completely and greatly. Based on research and implementation on a digital production project in aeroengine manufacture, this paper focus on researching and realizing the CAPP system based on PDM for aeroengine manufacturing. The key issues studied and conclusions deduced in the paper are as follow:1. By the analysis of the trend of CAPP development and current status in aeroengine manufacturing enterprise, the paper points out that CAPP based on PDM is the whole solution of dealing with process design and process management.2. This paper puts forward the structure and function frames of CAPP system based on PDM..3.Applying UML acknowledge to CAPP modeling, realizing the analysis and design about CAPP system based on PDM, and gaining the system models, such as use-case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, collaboration diagrams, class diagrams and component diagrams.4. By the research on a aeroengine manufacturing enterprise, this paper discusses main implement technologies of CAPP based on PDM for aeroengine manufacturing.
