By analyzing the present situations of the electric power quality monitoring equipments and algorithm home and abroad, aiming at the demand of power department, A new surveillance device based on DSP(Digital Signal Processing)technology is developed.This paper analyzes the concepts of power quality and its correlative algorithms and modling firstly. The hardware structure is made up of AD73360 (A/D) and TMS320C5402 DSK at the demand of practical applications of power department.The software includes the drive program and the program of correlative algorithms.The surveillance device can get the data of sampled three phases voltage and current signals,and the data is analyzed by DSP using the fast Fourier transfonn (FFT) algorithm about the harmonic,the aberration of voltage waveform, voltage fluctuation, flicker, deviation of frequency and three-phase unbalance and so on.
