Development And Mechanism Of The Oil Pump Performance Test Bed

Oil pump is one of the key parts in engine; its characteristics of pressure, rev and flux will have great effect on the basic performance of engine directly. By putting the oil pump of Nanjing-Fiat as an object, a set of test bed was developed for testing its performance.After the research goal, standards and actuality of the test bed were analyzed, in this dissertation, the principle of this equipment was defined firstly, and its mechanical part was designed, based on the criterion of Nanjing-Fiat 7.A2050/01 about oil pump performance. The design of mechanical parts includes the design of power, gearing, pipeline, oil trunk etc. Based on this, all kinds of sensors that used during testing were selected rightly, including its types, models, technical parameters, quantity etc. And according to the demands of this item, a rational design was made on electrical system, which includes the design of controller cabinet, the selection of electric components, the design of controller, the selection of industrial control computer, the collection of all data cards etc. In order to control its running of the test bed and manage the collected data, a management and control soft system was designed, and by which all charts and report forms can be created. After run practically, the system was proven achieving all of the original design guidelines.
