The inefficient zone of forced action mixer is close related to its structure, after analyzing reasons of how the inefficient zone forms, this paper gives the measure to improve its mixing performance according to new mixing conception. The author raises the parameters design principle of mixer by means of theoretical analysis and has designed one double mixing-blades mixer on the basis of ordinary double horizontal shaft mixer on purposes of mixing and parameters optimization. With the help of experiment study, the author discusses parameters optimization and matching, and testes the performance of prototype comparing with ordinary forced action mixer. At last, the author puts forward that the double mixing-blades mixer, which improves mixing performance of inefficient zone and mixing quality and productivity of whole machine highly, is fit for the upgrade of old mixing devices and the design of new mixing devices.
