In this thesis, a high precision servo turn-table system with single freedom is designed and implemented, the theory and technique of engineering application is introduced, the emphasis is to solve the applied problems, which includes the scheme design, the system error analysis, the hardware and software design, the design and simulation of the control algorithm.The master-slave control structure based IPC and motion control card is adopted for this system, the system reliability is improved evidently by using the structure, which has the strong ability of logical judgment and information treatment. The IPC sends the required position or velocity signals to the motion control card through RS232 communication protocol. The motion control card accepts the signals sent by IPC and the feedback signal of the turn-table position or velocity, then calculates and outputs the control signals according to the control algorithm, and monitors the state of the turn-table.The hardware design includes the electromotor select, the position sensor select and the speed reducer select, and the design of the motion control card based on the DSP chip(TMS 320LF2407). The software design includes the design of the motion control card software, the design of control algorithm software, the design of communication software and design of the IPC monitoring softwareThe expert PID algorithm and the grey PID algorithm are designed in this thesis.
