The paper mainly researched servo-motor synchronous detection and control system based on the open multi-axis motion control card PMAC, which was used for detection and control synchronous motor operation of rail tracks on both sides of CNC cutting machine. Through analyzing and studying the structure and function of PMAC motion control card, the open control system based on industrial computer and motion control card was proposed, which used Huarui Honey Bee CNC cutting machine as the test platform, Advantech IPC machine as host computer, the PMAC motion control card as the core of lower computer, which achieved dual-processor operation, Panasonic AC servo motor and matching drive as drive system.The system mainly included hardware and software. The hardware could be divided into host computer, lower computer and servo-driven, the main work of the paper was setting the PMAC motion control card interface and jumper, the connection of industrial computer and servo drive system, to meet the requirements. The software for real-time control and system management, mainly achieved the communication between the various parts, the system initialization, resource allocation and procedure calls, etc.In theory mathematical model of servo drive part was built by MATLAB / Simulink software, which was simulated by intelligent expert PID control algorithm, through the simulation results, the system met requirement after 0.05s under the condition: K P=0.55, K I=1.8, K D=0.04. The Honey Bee CNC cutting machine was used to complete synchronous detection and control for two servo motors, from which the synchronous operation error was obtained. The result showed that the servo motor synchronous control system, which was based on the PMAC controller, reached the requirements of technology and precision of gas cutting NC system, of which the relation deviation absolute average was 2.919%. The development cycle of servo motor synchronous detection and control system based on a PMAC controller was short, which was easy to practice and improved machining accuracy of the orbital CNC cutting machine, as well as providing a feasible technical reference for other numerical control devices.
