A hardware-in-loop simulator system for automobile electronic device is presented in this paper, including ABS and AT.Among all the capabilities of an automobile, safety is most important. Now, anti-lock braking system (ABS) is widely used in vehicles. It can meet the request of safety. ABS can not only used as a common braking system, but also avoid to lock wheels. In this way, driver can control the vehicle well when ABS worked. Since wheels are not locked, ABS can avoid sideslip and track departure. ABS is most advanced braking system nowadays.AT is used to transmit the output torque of engine to meet the need of driving in different road. It can make the engine always work in nice situation, output high power in low fuel consume. Also, AT can be used for parking and backing. Relatived to conventional transmission, AT can change the torque output automatically, make the vehicle more comfortable, powerful and economical.Since ABS and AT are controlled by ECU, the program should be compile beforehand. Developer has to compile the program in computer, and confirm the parameters.Formerly, Developers use only computer to simulate the work of electronic devices. The method presented in this paper is hardware-in-the-loop simulation. In this method, hardware is put into the loop. Now this method is adopted by many famous automobile manufactures.The system which been presented in the paper is a kind of hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform for automobile electronic devices. In this platform, user can simulate the logic both of ABS and AT, also, can observe the work of the vehicle. At the same time, the platform can be used to help to design new logic. The model is built in MATLAB/Simulink, then, compiled to real-time code in RTW toolbox. The I/O card is used to communicate. The system has passed in Jatte car. The result is satisfying.On the one hand, the development of the system is a good teaching platform, on the other hand, it validate that hardware-in-the-loop simulator is efficiency and economical.
