In the background of Industrial Design Digitization, Multi-Target Evaluation becomes an important stage of promoting the design qualities. As a vital part of the Computer Aided Industrial Design System (CAIDS), the digitized Multi-Target Industrial Design Evaluation System works couple with the other sub-systems of CAIDS. The development of this system keys on the selection of evaluation target structure and the way of evaluation. The Evaluation Toolkit with the core of Evaluate Target Tree is a proper solution. In the system framework, the technique of Expert System as a special module could promote the intelligence of this system.Based on Industrial design, this thesis systematically researched the theory and methodology of Multi-Target Industrial Design Evaluation with computer aided technology. A prototype of Multi-Target Industrial Design Evaluation System was structured, which is based on the Evaluation Toolkit and special Database. This thesis researched the presentation of design evaluation knowledge and the technology of knowledge reasoning.The new theory and methodology of Multi-Target Industrial Design Evaluation were discovered, which provided the basis of further research on theory and practice. A suit of Evaluation Toolkit with proper functions was developed, and was successfully integrated on CAXA (the form design platform), the system works well and has an satisfying effect.
