During the last few years, the buried structures have been widely used in water power engineering, transportation engineering, urban construction, military and people's air defense project, the aseismic design and performance evaluation of buried structures have become a more and more important subject to engineers. The soil and within buried structure makes a dynamic interaction system under ground motion, the seismic response of buried structures is a result of this dynamic interaction. Based on the basic theory of soil-structure interaction, a finite element model for the analysis of soil-buried structure dynamic interaction is built with ANSYS program in this paper, some subroutines are programmed in APDL for the Time-history seismic analysis. With the same parameters, the seismic responses of free ground and soil-buried structure interaction system are calculated separately with ANSYS program. By comparing the results of calculations, some characters and influence factors of the soil-buried structure dynamic interaction are discussed, some graphs are presented to demonstrate the results obviously. Several advices of the aseismic design of buried structures are given in conclusion. The method to realize the analysis of soil-buried structure dynamic interaction is also valuable even to the analysis of building structures, bridges and dynamic machine foundations, etc.
