Urban waterfront is a important part of city. In recent years, more and more pepole and more and more country are interesting in landscape architecture design of urban waterfront .There are a lot of advantages and problems in this developmental upsurge. How to develop these advantages and solve the problems is the thesis of this discourse.There are fou part in this discourse, the first part's content is discussing and analysing the importance of landscape architecture design in urban waterfront.The second part emphasized the characterristics of landscape architecture in urban waterfront. Author concluded characteristic element into three aspect: ecological substance element, ideological element ,economical element.The third part try to discuss how to design in landscape architecture of urban waterfront.The fourth part is project analysising part .Author use theory into practice, and then , use the practice check up the theory.
