My article want to study a very ancient architectural material brick through its history upon thousand years, discuss the cultural factors of brick construction. People's house is not only a construction to keep people off wind and rain, it is a system of reasons, wishes and emotions. I want to dig how the technic and culture effect the morphic of architecture through the study of development history of brick.The construction of the article: started from the tectonics, discuss the character of architecture, then I get three directions to discuss: mechanical capacity of material. How do people use the character of the brick to keep pressure; the procession of material making; the method of material using. At last, I tried to use the critic regional theory of Kenneth Frampton to discuss the precession of brick architecture morphic through weather, corporate mental, corporate aesthetic and technics. The conclusion of my article comes back to the aesthetic valuation problem of architectures.The mission of article is not only study how to make brick fit development of architecture in the future through technics method, it is not to compare east architecture of brick and west architecture of brick, either, but also study the difference of cultures through the architectures of brick, then find a principle: how does culture effect architecture. I want to make some inspiration to create architecture through my article.
