Robust Design Methods In Aircraft Design Applied Research

Since been proposed , the method of robust design (MRD) has been widely used for improving quality and reducing cost. In this paper , the MRD is applied in aircraft structure design and configuration design to improve the aircraft's robustness during the producing and operating progress .Based on the classical Taguchi method , this paper provides a improved one to solve the constrained multi-object problem . The response surface MRD and the method of experiment design are also summarized.I the latter part of this paper , some re-entry warhead rudders is designed by using the MRD and a new method is proposed to calculate the probability of re-entry vehicle roll abnormity.
