The stone-casting machinery is the main equipment at the time of rushing to deal with an emergency by casting stone and reinforcing bank with stone for Yellow River. There are more problems in adaptability, mobility, efficiency, reliability, etc for current domestic and international machinery for casting stone.For above problems, the key research of this paper is to develop a kind of special stone-casting machinery for Yellow River, hydraulic stone-casting machinery. On the basis of the successful experience in designs of domestic and international construction machinery, making full use of the principle of mechanism and hydraulic technology, a new type of machinery for stone-casting has been developed. And the traditional design calculation for key parts of the machinery is performed in this paper. Yet, this paper performs Finite Element analysis for the hopper and the runner with the software of ANSYS and validates the results by captive tests and suggests some measures to improve the hopper and the runner.In the end, stone-casting experiments are performed with the type of hydraulic stone-casting machinery. According to the results of the experiments, we can see that this type of hydraulic stone-casting machinery attains obvious improvements in the aspects of the level of mechanization, adaptability, mobility, the efficiency and distance of stone-casting, and reliability etc. compared with all kinds of current domestic and international stone-casting machinery.
