With the serious competition in the national marketing, the various products have been required higher quality than before. So we must design high quality product and solve the problem in the work in good ways that is overall quality management. Traditional engine design method is experience design method, since 1980s, many modern design methods, which are limited in the static design category, have been taken. But there are not very effective solution means that satisfy the rigorous requirement of vibration, noise etc.On the experimental base, the paper applys dynamic design theory and makes a creative exploration to engine design method, and makes a dynamic stiff and strength analysis to remedy the insufficiency of static design.In the paper, several main steps of dynamic design, such as model set up, test modal analysis and FE modal analysis, model revising, structure dynamic response analysis, sensitivity analysis and dynamic modifying, are discussed for the military diesel main parts: crankshaft, cylinder head, engine block, and their combined structure梕ngine block & crankshaft, engine block & cylinder head, engine block & crankshaft & cylinder head, thus the paper finishes the whole tache of dynamic design and realizes the whole flow of engine dynamic design.
