Wuhuang Gong Lu Cement Concrete Pavement Analysis And Overlay Technology Study

The author in this paper, through investigating and analyzing the cement concrete pavement in Wu-Huang Highway, studies the main disease types of the cement concrete pavement. The result shows that the main reasons for pavement diseases in Wu-Huang Highway are the unreasonable pavement structure design, deficient construction quality, untimely maintenance, serious over-load and complex geology and hydrology conditions.On the basis of investigation and analysis, the author, directed against such diseases in cement concrete pavement as rupture, hollow, crack and mud-pumping, presents the measures of replacing the whole slab and filling slurry. In order to restore the strength and the surface performance of the pavement, the author introduces the overlay asphalt pavement. In order to reduce and delay the reflecting crack, in the designing the asphalt pavement the author introduces the STRATA stress alleviating interlayer. Relying on the rebuilding project in Wu-Huang Highway, the author analyzes the structural property of the pavement with STRATA, the mix design and construction technology of STRATA. At the same time, the author studies Superpave mix design and construction technology in the upper and middle layer of the overlay pavement.
