According to the requirements of modern national defenses, the speediness, accuracy and stability of servo system must have greater capabilities, and at the same time the system must be adaptive to hard circumstances. The variation of load has a wide range, and also with very strong interference moment. All these make the parameters of system change widely.In this paper, a hydraulic press servo system modeled PX-8 was improved, and the servo controller was redesigned. Because of the hard circumstances, it's difficult to obtain satisfied results by using the traditional control methods. So I tried an intelligent PID control method, which is based on neural network theory and genetic algorithm. Simulations and experiments were brought into effect on the system.The results of simulations and experiments show that the intelligent PID controller is very self-adaptive and robust, it can inhibit the interferences caused by the load change effectively, and satisfy the design requirements. |
