The potentiality of generation capacity expansion of the hydro power turbines puted into production early in our country is great .formerly a single reform mode is generally used in the reform of hydro power generation(that is only using the method of reforming turbin > generator > or a main part of them).the reformed generator does not match the turbin's capacity,the effect of capacity expansion is not distinct.still we face the problem of cspacity expansion is not dis tinct.still we face the problem of the further reform of the generators,and waste much manpower and financial resources.based on the sumed up experience before in the turbin-generator reform,for the first time we break through thk old reform mode,we study the reform feasibility of the turbin capasity expansion first ,and then we reform the generator, the turbin's automatic control system, electric equipment etc. Matchingly,that is we peform a modernized reform for the turbin ,and make distinct effect .as a result,we make the turbin puted into production in 1940's reach the advanced level in 1990's,and explore a new way for the reform of the old turbins.
