Electricity pricing is the fulcrum in controlling the power transactions, and can give the signal of price in electric power market, so it becomes the hot pop-point of research. The algorithm of the spot price is studied and a fast spot price solution is presented in this paper. The transmission cost allocation solution is also studied in this paper and a new reasonable idea is proposed.The fast spot price solution proposed in this paper introduces a decomposing model, which is benefit for analyzing each component of spot price. Based on interior-point optimal power flow, which has superiority on calculating and decomposing spot prices under power market environment, after rational approximation, the coefficient matrix and its factor table of modifying equation are made constant and need no recalculation during iterations. So this fast spot price solution can save a lot of time and is benefit for the on-line calculating of spot price. Optimization results of IEEE 30 system validate that this method not only has the same superiority with IP OFF on calculating and decomposing spot prices, but also greatly quickens the calculation speed.The basic requirements that are needed by transmission cost allocation, can all be meet by the new idea proposed here. That is to say, according to the theory of accountancy and economics, transmission price based on this new idea can not only call back the transmission cost, but also provide sufficient economical signals. Besides, for the justice and simplicity in transmission cost allocation, this paper gives several innovations on the algorithms, which are approved to be effective in practical applications.
