| The purpose of this paper is to present a numerical methodology for simulating the flow of shock tunnel . The numerical approach uses a MacCormack scheme or S-W spiliter for the quasi-one-dimensional Euler equation coupled with real gas effect. A simple method is used to track contact discontinuities. Comparisons of experimental and computational shock Mach number are made for four different condition. The results of numerical simulation agree with that of experiment,show good agreement between numerical simulation results and test results.This paper also give the chemical equilibrium simulation results of hypersonic air flows around a pellet ,the place of shock agrees with experiment result. Use the program,I give the result of the layer condition in the shock tube. |
