| With the development of modern manufacturing, product designers should fully take product assembly feasibility into account. In this dissertation a method of working out the sweeping of the assembly part, dynamic interference exanimating and analyzing product assembly feasibility is proposed.The contents are as follows:In chapter 1, the disadvantages of the traditional assembly design technology are described. Then, the present status of research work on product assemblability is discussed. The chapter ends up with depiction of the primary research contents of the dissertation.In chapter 2, the method of the assembly part decomposed to many convex polyhedra is analyzed. Based on the posture of the assembly part and the translation of coordinates, a solution of building intersection line between the plane and the assembly part is discussed. By rebuilding topology relationships among intersection lines, a triangulation algorithm for planar profile is put forward.In chapter 3, the method of modeling the sweeping of the assembly part in the assembly process is discussed. Envelope surface is clarified as front envelope surface, rear envelope surface and sweeping envelope surface. Based on the vector of point, the formula of moving envelope surface of the assembly part is given. According to determinant and vector theory, the method of working out the three-dimensional space arbitrary polyhedron volume is described. The volume of sweeping is calculated for evaluating the necessary assembly space.In chapter 4,several characteristics of collision detection are clarified. Based on layered envelops bounding box and subdividing the set of the possible interference components step by step, swiftly dynamic interference checking is carried out. The intersecting and touching relationship of the assembly parts are distinguished.In chapter 5, several examples of analyzing assembly assemblability are presented. The data structure and the algorithm are also given.In chapter 6, contents of the dissertation are summarized and further research work is mentioned. |
