In this paper, the Finite Element Method(FEM) is used in the analysis of the static and dynamic strength of solid rocket engine. In the analysis I-deas Master Series 8.0 program is used.The static strength analysis models of combustion chambers, nozzle , plate closure are established , and the stress and displacement of them are calculated . The thermal field and thermal stress of chambers are calculated by the FEM ,and the temperature-position curves are given.Moreover , the structural dynamics analysis models of wing and the whole rocket are established , and the vibration modes are evaluation .This paper provides a new methods of analyzing strength of solid rocket engine . And many value materials are given so that the designers of solid rocket can improve their structure design .
