From two aspects on material and structure ,this paper has gone the research of concrete road with lean concrete base(LCB), and necessary economic analysis. By the data abstained from test, put forward the appropriate material strength and modulus of lean concrete (LC), according to different traffic volume. Through fatigue test , established the fatigue-equation of lean concrete. On the base of this , cony through the structure analysis by modulus-equalization method (MEM) and finite-clement method (FEM), concluded that the modulus-equalization method analyzed results should not been applied to carry out the structure design. of this kind of pavement. At the same time a large number of finite element method calculation has been done, founding the basis for structure design. In addition , economy analyzes of this kind of pavement is carried out, and the superiority of lean concrete base(LCB) is demonstrated...
