Automated yielding and optimization of highway profile is an important part of automated road design. According the research of process of artificial profile design, based on the digital terrain module, this paper deliberates the automated yielding and optimization algorithm of highway profile deeply and puts forward a method using roughness grades to finding mileage of point of change of gradient, B-spline and genetic algorithm in order to carrying out joint optimization on profile point of change of gradient. This paper puts emphasis on improving calculating speed and reference value of optimization achievement, providing previous design reference for designer and degrading labor of designer and cost of highway constructing.
