As a final control element of process piping, control valve plays a very important role in modern factory automatic control. Valve profile line design, which has a significant impact on flow regulation performance, is an important part of valve designed. Traditional valve profile line design usually used experimental method and profile line was verified after model tests. The traditional process workload is inefficient because of repeated modifications. Designing a profile line with excellent regulation accuracy, shortening design cycles and reducing design costs are important goals of profile line optimization control valve. We carried out the profile line optimization.Based on the analysis above, genetic algorithm was used to optimize the design of the 3-way valve throttle plate opening line, through optimization of the control valve profile, the profile design quality was improved, the design cycle was shorten, design cost was reduced. CFD and numerical simulation were used to verify the test. The main contents are as following:(1)3-way valve working principle and structural characteristics were analyzed, aiming at the different flow characteristics requirements of main channel and siding channel, it was put forward to provide import and export throttling device to meet the requirements that the main channel flow characteristic is equal percentage and that siding channel flow characteristics is beeline.(2)By studying optimization algorithm, a suitable optimization and design method for opening profile of main channel and siding channel of 3-way valve; Equations of flow area changes were derived, finding the optimal objective function.(3)Genetic optimization algorithm was used to optimize and design opening profile of main channel and siding channel of 3-way valve, and CFD numerical simulation method was used to simulate and calculate flow channel of the model established, fitting flow characteristics profile line.(4)Combining with flow test trials, the opening lines after optimization of the 3-way valve main were verified by experiments, experimental results verify reliability of the numerical simulation and applicability of genetic algorithms.As for control valve profile line, the study has some guide on optimization design, improvement of structure, improvement of control characteristics and application of optimization methods.
