The prompt development of modem software & hardware technology provide us with advantage to develop a new generational bridge CAD system. On the basis of the current states of bridge CAD application and the rapid development of software technology, this paper studies systematically on the software development technology of bridge CAD system. The main research content includes: requirement analysis for bridge software, describing of bridge design model centering on the user, system integration technology and advanced software development technology of the state-of -the-art which are suitable for bridge CAD.This paper introduces the constitution and system architecture of bridge CAD. Bridge CAD develope technology based on core database system and graphics support system has been studied at length in this paper, and the idea of selecting ACCESS and AutoCAD to serve as the center database management system and graphics support system is brought up. In addition, as a practice of the above theory, Bridge Master, which is a software for bridge structure analysis, is developed to prove the feasibility and advantage of the theory discussed above.The data integration is fundamental to fulfill system integration. A set of models for data storage has been build up in this paper, making use of which all miscellaneous data in bridge software could be managed uniformly and the query from user or data communication is convenient and efficient. This paper try to use commercial database management system to manage data in bridge software uniformly and taking advantage of ActiveX Data Objects, which is the newest Microsoft data access technology, this problem has been resolved.By means of these studies, author gives a complete theoretical analysis for the development c~f new generational bridge CAD system, and gets a good practical proof These works builds up the preliminary fundament based on which a new generational bridge CAD system can be developed further. |
