Through the research of the traditional Yao-dong villages,we canget the essences and enlightening from it.Then, this thesis sums up three main di1emmas:society crisis, environment crisis and the crisis because of economy development andconcept change. All in all, the renovation of Yao-dong villages world not be stopped for somany crises.The key of this thesis is the investigation and analysis of preent state in Sunk-Yaodongvillages. Chunhua County is selected as the objecat in which Sunk-Yaodong villages can beseen in the past and great changes have taken place now.
