Large-diameter Hole Belled Pile Bearing Capacity Of Pilot Study

Although large diameter pile with bulb shaped base has now been in use, its bearing behavior and the best way of its calculation are still being studied. Meanwhile, the method of numerical value calculation of bearing capacity and deformation has not been unified yet. This essay, through the field leading test of belied pile with embedded test element, in combination with interrelated theories and numerical value analysis, first of all, systematically explains the types of load-settlement curve and the distribution characteristics of pile shaft axial stress in the process of adding load to the large diameter pile with bulb shaped base; it also discusses the distribution laws of side resistance; then presents the distribution of soil frictional resistance and the relations between pile soils?relative position movement; it further analyses the bearing behaviors and failing characteristics. Secondly, this essay gives the formula of how to fix pile tip bearing capacity with relative settlement by exploring belied pile抯 tip area effect. Finally, the essay puts forward the experience formula of how to evaluate bearing capacity and expounds the practical application of how to infer ultimate bearing capacity with Van Der Veen抯 method. In one word, this essay not only offers practical guidance to the project being studied, but also provides some reference values to the study of the large diameter pile with bulb shaped base in this area and even in other areas.
