In this paper, according to the working demand of the freeway maintenance,The component of three kinds of working devices of the Multifunctional FreewayMaintenance(MFM) has been established; Based on the kinematics analysis ofthem, the 3D solid design and dynarnic simulaton of three kinds of workingdevices about clearing side drain, shearing grass and breaking cement pavementhave been done on the MDT(Mechanical Desk Top) software flat also, It candirect, dynamically comPlete the task about checking interference, analyzingtransmission properties, computing mass properties and defining motion space of3D mechanism motion, in this way the rationality of a new mechanical design iscertified, Moreover the motion locus of three kinds of devices is analyzed on theMATLAB software flat and the motion space is determined. On the basis of this,the working performance of the multifunctional freeway maintenance has beencomputed and the hydraulic system has been designed.
