In this paper, the feature of laying continuous welded rail on sharp curve was analyzed.Based on TB2034-88 and TB2098-89, the maximum rail temperature magnitude of layingcontinuous welded rail were calculated for standard rail structure and enhanced structure onR=350m curve according to track stability and strength. The feasibility of laying continuouswelded rail on R=350m curve in Qinghuangdao region was verified, the measure to enhancerail structure was put forward.In this paper, the test process and measurement work of laying continuos welded rail onR=350m curve were introduced. From the aspect of rail longitudinal displacement, the lateraldisplacement, the ballast lateral resistance, the wear of rail and track dynamical responses, thestability and the strength feature of laying continuous welded rail on sharp curve were studied.The condition of laying continuous welded rail on sharp curve was put forward.
