Study On Open Space And Waterfront Surrounding Land Use Of Jinji Lake In Suzhou Industrial Park

The waterfront open space is the most vigorous space in a city with fabulous natural resources and many people gather popular, all of which make the waterfront ground hot-developed zone. At the macro level, Layout optimization of waterfront open space, efficient use of its surrounding land , direct impact on the waterfront along the city structure and the quality of human settlements. At the micro level, waterfront open spaces enhance the quality of the environment surrounding the land and indirect economic benefits in many aspects. However, with city's high speed development, there is inadequate urban land, and the land resources is non-renewable, which cause the waterfront land infringed by others. Thus, the land resources for waterfront open space aren't guaranteed and citizens' requirements on environment quality can't be met. In China, waterfront land development and construction for the shortage of open space, land use surrounding waterfront open space has many problems to be solved, such as lack of features, ignoring the public interest. Lead to waterfront open space and surrounding land Overall decline in environmental quality, economic efficiency poor, waterfront land development has not achieved the desired results.For a long time, the waterfront open space study only in their own areas, the conjoint impacts haven't been paid attention to when develop the waterfront open space. With the worldwide revival of waterfront areas, we should attach more attention to the waterfront open space and its rim. Therefore, this paper not only refers to the waterfront open space, but also expands to the research on its around land. This paper selects Jinji Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park, open space and surrounding land use as a case study. After the research,the approaches on fully obtaining the positive and extensive influences of the space as well as the utilization on how to use around land can be obtained,so as to achieve the spill-over effect by harmonizing the waterfront open space and its around land. To supplement the existing methodology of waterfront open space and surrounding land use, to Propose the Case Experience In other cities, suitability and feasibility of implementation.
