Automatic Verfication Facility Of Oil Tank Car Capacity

Tank Car is a Special Purpose Vehicle for road transportation of liquid petroleum and chemical products. It is a metering tank which is installed in the car, not only for storage, but also for transportation. After passing the test, it also can be used as a measuring instrument for oil transfer and trade settlement. It belongs to national compulsory certification working measuring instruments. In recent years, increasing tensions with the energy products, rising prices of oil products, as the main measuring instrument of oil transport vehicle, tank capacity measurement problems have become increasingly prominent. In order to ensure the transfer of oil fair and just, along with the gradually increasing legal system concept, there come the increasing demands for measurement of tanker capacity. It is already the need of the community and economic development to establish an accurate, reliable, fast and convenient oil tank capacity test device.Based on the technical requirements, a set of automatic inspection device for automobile fuel tank capacity are designed. The device does capacity inspection by flow meter method, flow meter calibration by capacity comparison, and verifies the accuracy of flow meters for volume measure. The liquid level is measured by magnetostriction level gauge.The device adopts the applications of industrial auto-control technology to achieve automatic data acquisition of temperature, pressure, flow rate and liquid level, automatic control of valves, and automatic data processing and report generation, which greatly reduce labor intensity and improve the efficiency of tank capacity test. To avoid the Runge phenomenon introduced by the use of Lagrange polynomial processing and ensure the accuracy of data processing, data are processed between the measuring points by multi-segmented linear interpolation approach.
