New energy vehicles are top research of the world, because electric vehicles emissions no gas to the atmosphere, and electric vehicles are environmental protection, electric vehicles have been important direction of new energy vehicles. China also spend lots of resources to develop technology of electric vehicles. Battery management system of electric vehicle is a key technology of electric vehicles.In this dissertation, with a thorough research of the developments of BMS at home and abroad, a solution program of power battery management system has been constructed, which uses CAN-bus technology. Power battery of vehicle usually consists of battery pack, each battery pack usually consists of 8~12 single battery. This system is consists of a main PCB board and some daughter boards. Each battery pack contains a daughter board.All daughter boards communicate with main PCB board through CAN-bus.In this dissertation, main control chip is TMS320F2812,which is product by TI company. TMS320F2812 has excellent performance and has been used in many fields of industrial control. In this dissertation, with a main design program,we discuss the design of hardware, and it contains power supply circuit of TMS320F2812,CAN communication circuit, serial interface communication circuit, ADC circuit of TMS320F2812.In this design, we discuss programming of main control chip TMS320F2812.In order to observed the data which is send from daughter board, in this dissertation we discuss programming of computer,which is used LabWindows/CVI. In this dissertation, we discuss the application of Multithreading Programming of LabWindows/CVI in monitoring system.Finally, we discuss the problem and solution that is appeared in debugging of hardware and programming. Now, most of functions of system has been accomplished. The demo machine has been testing on lithium-ion power battery. The next step is to discover and resolve the problems when it running in field.
