With the rapid development of our country′s economy and continuous improvement of people′s living standard, more and more malls appeared in people's life. Meanwhile, serious energy-consumption problem turned up. For the mall building, air-conditioning energy consumption accounts for a large proportion in total consumption and has its specific feature. The calculation of air-conditioning load value has profound impact on the initial investment in the system and performance consumption. This paper analyzed the characteristic of air-conditioning cooling load and dynamic discipline about typical mall building in severe cold region.Firstly, it summarized the development of air-conditioning load calculational methods and the research situation of dynamic load home and abroad. Secondly, it stated the theory of air-conditioning load dynamic calculational methods, dynamic simulation methods and dynamic analysis. Thirdly, it analyzed all the factors one by one which could influence the air-conditioning cooling load in the buildings. Typical analysis model of cooling load was also established for the typical mall construction in severe cold region. The basic data of the target building was simulated through the use of air-conditioning load simulation software HDY-SMAD. And then, it analyzed every factor solely in order to determine the impact on the air-conditioning cooling load, so as to ascertain the regression line between the variation of single factor and total heat cooling load. Fourthly, it confirmed the simulation project of factors dynamic analysis base on the theory of orthogonal design, afterwards, carried out the simulation project in the use of commercial building thermal environment simulating software DeST-c. Thus, the distribution regulation of mall building cooling load during the cooling season in severe cold region could be find out. In order to determined the emphasis of the future energy-saving design, this paper also investigated the cooling load factors′dynamic significance by the result from F-variance analysis. Eventually, it summarized the research work and came up with several suggestions about the air-conditioning cooling load design as well as system performance.
